I have turned off all alerts in System Preferences on my Mac. Yet Firefox still manages to deliver an alert sound, which is maddening. Where do I turn this off?

Thanks, Amy

Do you have the NoScript extension installed? That's the only extension I have ever used that had a "sound".

If yes, open NoScript Options > Notifications and un-tick Audio feedback when scripts are blocked
