FireFox 30.0 keeps crashing and closing!
Been having problems lately and have tried everything that I have found on the support. Has seemed to get better, but still crashes??? Here are my Crash Report, hope they show in hyper-link! I just copied them from the about:crash window. I like FireFox and want to keep it as my browser. But it's a pain having it disappear while I'm typing or reading something, any help would be grateful!
Thanks Again, Richie

Chosen solution
The System Memory Use Percentage usage in the crash reports is rather high, so this could be a out-of-memory issue.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Thanks for your quick response!
Your words clicked, I had 1.5mb memory and removed a 512k, for another system. It didn't strike me. I had issues before with crash&close, too many windows opened! Running Excel, Word and having a dozen Firefox's opened, eats up a lot of resources! It has been taking a drain on my old reliable Athlon XP2800+ system's resources for a long while now. But it wasn't until removing the 512 chip that things went downhill! Even my large Excel & Word files were taking longer to open and write. I've put the 512 back in and hasn't crash yet. I open Excel file, they open right up. Even when I opened two larger files, they're almost instantaneously!!
Guess it's time to upgrade!
Again, thanks for your quick response. I have learned a lot from the forum and appreciate all of you "Helpers" that offer their time and insight!
