It has just started happening, have years of use. EVEN in safe mode, 2 Thunderbird windows open, and nothing seems to stop it. Need suggestions please

Are you using the current version 24.6? There were problems with this happening back around ver 16 or 17 but I have not heard of it since then.

It was an add-on acting bad, removed it and it stopped, strange, been using it for years
