I recently got a new modem from charter installed & now my Internet connection is lost
It says "the certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. The certificate is only valid for install.charter.net

Did you receive installation instructions from Charter for that new modem? If not, give Charter a call and have them walk you thru the setup of that new modem.
Yes, I received instructions. After talking to Charter 3 times and rebooting everything a zillion times, we determined that my router must not be recognizing the new modem. So I guess I'll call my router manufacturer and see what they can do. Thanks.
You missing supporting applications like .NET 2.2 ,etc. I think soo, But not sure. Kindly review those softwares. If not ping me.....I will help you, further. Thank u!

The modem is hooked up correctly and everything is fine with Charter. The problem is with my router. It's not recognizing the new modem. So I called LinkSys and they want $29.99 just to give me tech support to fix this problem. Any idea how to do this without them?
Plug the PC directly into the modem to establish the first connection with that new modem. Once that new modem is working, put the router back in the connection.

Do one thing, Kindly configure your router with other pc or laptop,
Later, establish the router connection, for the device which you needed !
It will support you !
Thank you !
