Block advertisments
Dear Support,
I am a Dutch citizen living in Thailand using Mozilla Firefox 30.0. Recently I noticed that on website www.nu.nl advertisement in Russian language show up including pictures. My OS is Windows 8.1.1. and I have ABP and ABP Pop installed. How can I get rid of this?
I tried to include PNG file but only see Post Question button.
Thanks for any help
Rob

I succeeded in clearing both cookies and cache but no result when visisting www.nu.nl. Russian advertisements plus pictures still there.
Hi Aman,
your remark about accepting cookies on website www.nu.nl made me think. I changed the standard setting for cookies in not accepting advertisments from any company. Choose then for Custom Settings, Save and voila no more Russian pictures and/or text shown on this website.
Many thanks for helping me out.
Regards from me from Thailand.

Maybe also do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
