I want email addresses in my text to appear as hyperlinks
Sometimes when I put an address in the content of my message it appears as a hyperlink, but sometimes it does not. When it does not, how can I force it? Thanks
Chosen solution
It should almost always be a clickable link for the recipient, even if it appears not to be so in the composition window (by design, so it can be edited without launching the link), but to force it, start from Insert/Link (Ctrl-L), type in the Link Text, e.g. Jane Doe, then in the Link Location box type mailto:janedoe@somewhere.com
This only works for HTML messages.

Thank you. It appears that the hyperlink is indeed seen by the recipient.
Thank you. The recipient was able to click it as you suggested.
