How can I migrate addresses to TB? Can't find a "Tools" option to click

more options

just got an 8.1 to replace my XP (which used Outlook Express as primary. Am trying to import the adress book from OE and the instructions I got said if TB has already been installed/accessed, just "click on 'Tools' and choose import addresses from OE."

Where the heck is a "Tools" to click?

(weren't the "good-old-days" called Windows 98?)  :-(

Thanks,

Jim McCarthy Shell Knob, MO

Tools is on the Menu Bar. If your Menu bar is not showing, press that alt key. Then select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars on.

The new menu system, which stinks in my opinion, is hidden under the AppMenu button. It is a small square with 3 lines in it. Not all the menu choices are in the normal places in that menu and do not match the available documentation. That is why I suggest that you turn the old toolbars on.
