Upgraded to Windows 8 and lost everything, is there anyway to recover it?
I upgraded to Windows 8 from Windows 7, and prior to the upgrade was informed that everything would be placed in a folder called "Windows.old". I located this folder and found my normal firefox folder. I opened firefox thinking it would be handy dandy but it opened up like it was the first time using it. At this point I knew I would have to do some work to get it back to the way it was, so I searched how I would do this and I fell upon a step by step on your forums that told me to find a profiles folder. I found this profiles folder in the appdata roaming folder http://i.imgur.com/bunQQGx.png...http://i.imgur.com/jcbUiDc.png. I tried using that one but it did not return anything. So I found the one in the appdata/local folder. http://i.imgur.com/Fh8INEF.png (this one was about 3 times the size of the first one, so I thought this had to be it.) and this was inside it. http://i.imgur.com/1cK894m.png and this is inside the "Cache" folder, it is what takes up the majority of the space...http://i.imgur.com/ntVUTRc.png. But this one didn't help either, i followed every step but nothing worked. If someone could help me out, I would be immensely grateful.

Sorry, the first to links were sorta linked. This is the second link to the inside of the folder. http://i.imgur.com/jcbUiDc.png
