Mozilla sends two signatures (from file) insted of just one
I have a signature on a .png file. When i write and send the email it looks perfect. But the receiver gets 2 signatures, exactly alike, and gets a grey line on top with the full file name . thanks

Check your Signature, whether you enabled HTML and VCF file
Did that before... no luck. When composing it's just fine , but however gets it, gets it with 2 signatures.
Same HTML/Text Signature?
Could you provide the Screenshot of your Signature.
To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:
- Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
- Restart the operating system in safe mode with Networking. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX
- If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates.
Yes, the exact same signature is doubled the moment i press send.
In safe mode my email account disappears. It needs an exchange add on .
The problem with the image, you added the HTML link twice.
could you provide the Signature content.
The raw file is a .docx, i edited it and save it as a .png, then in the account settings i attached it as a file, i press "chose" and i chose the file...that's it, just one file.
When i start a new email the signature comes right away on the sample and it looks fine, just like the file. when i send, it ads another signature and the destine recipient gets an email with 2 signatures.
The problem is the file must be Text/HTML/Image file.
My suggestion is make it as a HTML file and upload it.
Tried that as well , i created a new signature (HTML) an inserted this one as a picture... the signature came as 2 big white boxes .... i am thinking it must be the exchange add on that my account needs... it must be doubling the signature.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem
