How do I get Firefox to clear my history when I close it but remember my logins so I don't have to log in again each time I go to sites?

Self-explanatory. I have Firefox set to clear history when I close it but remember active logins, and when I reopen the browser, I have to log in again.

hello hanshotfirst1138, most sites will store the information that you're logged in in a cookie, if you clear them at shutdown then you'll have to login again next time you open the browser.

i'd recommend this setup: in the privacy options select "firefox will use custom settings for history" and "keep cookies until i close firefox". afterwards create exceptions for the sites you want to stay logged in. you can also easily set that for the current site you're on by right-clicking on a blank spot and going to view page info > permissions.
