Could you check whether it it has somehow gotten into your settings as your home page? See:
In some cases, a web page will get added to your Firefox shortcut. You can tell it's there because it appears every time you use the shortcut -- for example to open a new window during your session -- but never when you use the Home button (or Alt+Home on the keyboard, or Ctrl+n to launch a new window). If it's in the shortcut, you can edit that by right-clicking it, choosing Properties, and then on the Shortcut tab, make sure you only have this in the Target:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
or for 64-bit Windows:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
A final possible scenario is that a bad settings file is involved, but that is less likely.
I'm curious: are you running Firefox in compatibility mode as your user agent mentions Windows NT 4.0
- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 4.0; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
