Firefox keeps crashing at random times.
For several months now, Firefox has been crashing at random times. I have been ignoring it for the most part, but it has been happening more frequently the last few days, so I want to finally try to figure out what's going on. I assume it has to do with add-on/extension conflicts, but if so, I don't know which ones and I have no idea how to read the crash reports. I have tried updating Firefox (as well as my add-ons and plug-ins) a few times, but it hasn't helped. And as far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be anything specific that triggers the crashes. Sometimes it will happen when I go to a Youtube link and sometimes it will happen when I'm in the middle of reading plain text. And sometimes it happens when I'm not doing anything at all.
I'm currently using Firefox 24.0 on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I run malware scans regularly with MBAM and SUPERAntiSpyware, neither of which have turned up anything malicious in the recent past. Here are my 5 latest crash reports:

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Firefox 24 is very out of date. Please update to Firefox 32.0.3 and please let us know if you still have crashes. Update Firefox to the latest release

Sorry for the belated response; I became unexpectedly busy.
Tyler Downer, I'm willing to try updating, but that will take a little bit of time since I need to make sure I have everything backed up properly and then I'll have to use it for a couple of days to monitor any errors/crashes. I just hope that it won't be too much of a hassle to roll back to 24 if updating doesn't resolve the issue. There are a lot of changes made to 32 that I don't like and it looks like a few of my favorite add-ons aren't supported.
FredMcD, Thanks for pointing that out. I ended up completely uninstalling all traces of Shockwave and re-installing the latest version, so those are now gone. Now that I think about it, I remember having a lot of issues with Shockwave 11 causing Firefox to crash constantly until Adobe finally issued a patch for it. I wonder if my current issues may be related in some way. I'm going to give Firefox some heavy usage over the next few days and see if I notice a change.
Many thanks to both of you!
These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backup of files that you choose.

You can do a custom install of the Firefox 32 release in a separate program folder and use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.
There is also a Firefox 24.8.1 ESR version that has the latest security patches if you want to stay with Firefox 24 for now. Click the Firefox 24 link to switch from Firefox 31 to Firefox 24.
Thanks for all of the info, you guys! I haven't had anymore crashes so far since getting rid of those Adobe plugins. Not sure if it that actually fixed things or not, though, so I'm going to keep monitoring Firefox. If it ends up crashing again soon, I'll try switching to 32 for a while, but hopefully I'll be able to continue with 24 (now with the ESR) without any issues.
Good luck.
