is it possible to move lotus notes .nsf database into thunderbird?

Past employer uses Lotus Notes. They provided me with my .nsf database file. However, my new employer is using Thunderbird. Can the .nsf database be imported or converted to work in Thunderbird.

you will need to purchase on of the NSF to EML or NSF to Mbox programs that are available on the web
