My feed reader doesn't pick up all my bookmarks
My feed reader (Brief) doesn't pick up all my feeds; specifically, it doesn't pick up those with dashed squares instead of logos in the label area. what do these squares mean, and how do I get my reader to pick them up?
Thanks.

Those first three items in the Library have generic default icon and aren't recognized as feed items, so their location (URL) is possibly corrupted or doesn't link to a feed page. You can check that by opening those three link in tabs to see what comes up.

Mr Blair, do you happen to have a screenshot of these? How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
Is it also possible that some of the feeds are not in the add on? I am not entirely familiar, but I do understand that the feeds can be managed by subscription managers, depending on the add on you are using. Are these also in the live bookmarks http://kb.mozillazine.org/Live_Bookmarks_-_Firefox
After going through my feeds, I discovered that the problem is not as widespread as I thought; there are only two instances, one of which I've documented in the accompanying screenshot. As you can see, two of the "boxed" feeds--"Ask Me Another" and "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me"--don't show up in the feed reader (Brief); the third one ("Sunday Puzzle") shows up twice: once with NPR logo (which appears in the feed reader), and once with the box, which doesn't appear. Also, when I delete the "boxed" feed, both feeds disappear, and I have to go back download it again. This apparently only happens with some (not all, by any stretch of the imagination) NPR feeds, and on no other site. Please note that I use Microsoft's "Live Bookmarks" to subscribe to all my feeds.
I hope this information helps. Many thanks

Cor-el, I went to the "All Bookmarks" list, and clicked on the first two entries. "Live Bookmarks" came up, so I resubscribed to both feeds, and all went well (the feeds are now in my feeds file). I was also able to delete the generic links without any problems. All that's left is to do the same process with my one remaining generic feed, and I'll be good to go.
Many thanks.
