Bookmarks lost after refreshing pc

After I refreshed my PC, because it had a virus that I couldn't take away, it also deleted firefox. Firefox has been deleted before but all my bookmarks had always been saved either way. I go to my profile and none of the bookmarks are there, but I really need them. Is there any way I can get them back?

Hi fondlovers, Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles will show you where the profile is located, however if the places.sqlite file is not there, I am sorry the bookmarks may no longer be there if you do not have a back up.
