Leave messages unticked, but still leaves messages on server

I have recently reinstalled TB, and as I do not want to leave messages on the server, I have unticked the box "Leave messages on the server" When opening TB the box "Leave messages.." is checked again. This has ever happened before. TB version v.31.2.0 regards jan

Hi Jan,

TB setup as POP or IMAP account? I guess at present IMAP. "Leave messages on the server" is only a valid option for POP account's as POP normally removes messages from the server the moment it get's queried by a mail client like TB. If at the moment you've setup TB as IMAP client, you are seeing normal behavior.

Hi Franz, thanks for your replay. I have a POP account. In my case, I always have to uncheck the box "Leave messages on the server" after installing TB. Regards jan
