How can you make the Bookmarks and History buttrons open the sidebars in Firefox 33?
How can I make the Bookmarks and History buttons open their respective sidebars instead of having to use the stupid submenu on the Sidebars button?
Apparently the Classic Theme Restorer worked for Firefox 29, but it doesn't work for 33: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/991080

There are two sets of toolbar buttons for history and bookmarks in the Customize palette with the CTR extension installed. You need the ones without drop marker to open the sidebar.

There is a different Sidebar button in Firefox 30 than there was in Firefox 29. Grab the Sidebars button from the Customize Menu - not in CTR options.
Thanks, but that's the stupid option I referred to. The Sidebar button has a stupid submenu, and the current Bookmark and History buttons stupidly and uselessly just act as dropdown menus. I want the Bookmarks and History buttons to pull up the sidebars directly like they do in 28!

In my version of FF 33 and CTR, the two different Bookmark and History button options look EXACTLY the same in customization. BUT you are correct, while one set does the the stupid dropdown menu, the other set does the sidebar! Thanks!!
