I used Firefox to enter my data. I hit continue. It took me to the confirmation page. That page had all my info correct but no buttons to make the final payment or confirm it. When I called in, they could do it in IE, which I hate, they could see buttons back, and make payment.

Is this a new problem in Firefox 33 that you didn't have in previous versions, or was this the first time you tried it in Firefox?

Firefox might have stricter requirements for secure sites than other browsers. If you have noticed any certificate related errors and had to make any exceptions to trust a site, it could indicate a problem with Firefox not being fully set up to work with your security software, or possibly that you have malware on your system.

To investigate that further, if you go to this page (I assume this is the company)

https://frontier.com/login

and in the address bar click the padlock icon, then "More Information" then "View Certificate", does the Issued by section look the same as in the attached screen shot?
