Bookmark won't work.

This problem started like 2-3 weeks ago, when I bookmark a page (Ctrl+D or the Bookmark button) the blue star animation appears but the bookmark isn't saved. I have tried resetting the browser and reinstalling Firefox as well, but that doesn't fix the problem. My version of Firefox is 33.0.3

Did you look in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder?

You can click the blue highlighted star on the Navigation Toolbar another time to edit the bookmark and move that bookmark to another folder.

There's no particular reason why it should work, but if you've tried everything else -

Main menu > Customize (then try dragging the bookmarks icon to a different location) > Exit, and see if it works there.
