After clicking "Reply", "Send" has disappeared from the bar at the top. Where did it go?

Unable to reply to messages because the "send" function has disappeared. Also, the top of the page is light blue without any tool or menu bars. I saw several other messages with the same issue but have no idea how they fixed it. Thank you.

Chosen solution

I think if you read my reply you will see that the first sentence is:

Open a Write window

If you are seeing the Mail Toolbar in the toolbar choices you are in the Inbox window and not a Write window.

Try again and follow the instructions.

Thanks for the reply to my problem but the menu bar is showing. Both menu bar and mail toolbar are selected. There is no "composition bar". Selecting "write" I get this page with blue at the top and the letter icon in the upper left-hand corner followed by "write" and then "To" and "Subject" and I can write a message. There is no send on this though. I have never had this issue before. Have no idea what happened. It started when I first began this morning.

Great! That worked. I was right clicking on "write" in the original pane instead of the one that opened in blue. Thanks so much. I won't even begin to figure out how it happened.
