Updated FF to version 33.1, now show on the computer programs list versions 33.0.3 AND 33.1 Is this normal?
Have never seen two Mozilla browser downloads at the same time on the list of computer programs. 33.0.3 showing 77.4 MB size while 33.1 has blown up to 155 MB. Ironically, that 155 figure is basically 77.4 multiplied twice... Two browser downloads on the program list at the same time - huh?

Yes, there were some extra fixes and another launch on Mozilla's 10th Birthday for version 33.1.
Thank you guigs2. However, it is still not clear to me why for the first time ever I am seeing two separate line entries for Mozilla Firefox. Versions 33.0.3 and the newest 33.1. I expected the entry for 33.0.3 to be removed replaced by 33.1 resulting in the normal one line entry in the Programs and Features list on my Win 8.1 system. It has always been presented that way for all the years I've used FFox. I looked at the list now and it is unchanged since my original post although the browser appears by all indications to be performing normally. Maybe I should just hang on and wait to see what appears after the next browser update. Any other thoughts please let me know and thanks again.
To be more clear on what guigs2 said, the 33.1 was to celebrate the ten years since Firefox got to version 1.0 rather and not a 10th birthday as Firefox is actually just over twelve years old.
A normal Release Firefox 34.0 will be released on November 25.

to update, 31.1.1 released (fix bug 1021265)
thanks
fmroldiesjock,
To answer your question about showing two versions of Firefox in your list of Programs, that shouldn't happen. Probably a glitch in the Windows Registry during the Firefox update.
Thank you all for your assist and information. I did update to version 31.1.1 as ideato pointed out was available and problem solved. Back to standard single line entry for Mozilla in Programs and Features. Thanks again!!
