Want FF windows at restart same as when I exited.
I always maximize my Firefox windows, usually leaving a few open when I exit FF before nightly shutdown. I deliberately have turned on Session Restore in my FF Options to get back to where I was when I shut down FF. When I start FF next, I get all my expected windows & tabs, but all the FF windows are reduced in size instead of maximized as they were when I shut FF down.
It's a minor problem, but I consider it a nuisance. My previous session is NOT completely restored to its previous state.
I've been using Firefox for over 10 years, & I don't think this was always what happened. I running Firefox 33.1.1, but the problem has been around thru several releases.

HI SF_Frog, Thank you for your question. Currently the session restore does not save the size of the windows. The information stored may be revealed in this addon:
Firefox does improve however with each release and there are bugs for this https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=session%20re...
I am sorry I do not have an ETA if this will change and I do understand it is annoying .

Thank you for researching this & providing such good detail in your answer, even if the result isn't what I'd hoped for.
