Outlook Express died with Windows 8. Windows made that happen. Ask anybody that has windows 8. Why do you think I'm stuck with Thunderbird???

Go for it. It came with my Thunderbird and marks everything as SPAM. Lol, nice try.

So you refuse to accept any advice, even that given by the authors of Spamassassin who advise you to go to your ISP. As I have done, several times.

You say "OE" and appear not to know what it is.

Good bye.

I went to my ISP, Cox, and they said to check my web-mail and sure enough the pictures are there. Not my ISP. Next I went to my security provider McAfee and Malwarebyes and both , along with Cox said it has to be Thunderbird. so I asked my question again on your forum and got the way to allow pictures described below. The answer is from one of your colleges who knows how to fix problems instead of insult people.

"If you see 'To protect your privacy; Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message' click on 'Options' button and select: 'Show remote content in this mesage' If it is from a known good email source, you can select to always show remote content from that email address, select 'Allow remote content for xx email address' If you want to always allow remote content - not advisable - then click on 'EDit remote content options' Under 'Mail content' you can select the option to 'Allow remote content in messages'. click on OK"

"Allow remote content" in Thunderbird options. Duh, Duh, Duh.

Under Tools, options, privacy, 'EDit remote content options' Under 'Mail content' you can select the option to 'Allow remote content in messages'. click on OK" I got this from another Thunderbird helper who knows Thunderbird. Now I see all my pictures.

Also under Tools, options security, there is a "Tell me if an email is a scam", so Thunderbird does mark emails as scams, or spam as well.

Maybe you should study that section. Tools-Options. There is a lot of good info you don't know about.

Look back. They started it. They were wrong and told me I ddn't know anything about email, when the problems I had were solved by another. Thunderbird helper who new the program. I did every thing they suggested and my ISP proved it wasn't them. Same for McAfee and Malwarebytes. Please remove me from this group of [...]!
