Thunderbird, installed on Mint 17, gives me the opportunity to subscribe for different maps (e.a. sent/spam/trash...etc.), so I can see within Thunderbird, on the computer, what I sent via web mail. Nice and handy... Within Thunderbird installed on a other computer with Windows however, this option is available, but not active! No existing accounts are shown and no maps to choose.... Help...! with regards+ Aroen

Chosen solution

When you look at the account setup in Thunderbird on the problem computer is it set to POP or IMAP? My guess is POP.

Subscribe is a function of IMAP accounts. It sounds like the second account you are looking at is setup as POP.
