Bookmarks-show all- not working

After recent update of FF from version 29.0 to 35.0 the bookmarks "show all bookmarks" displays only a couple of entries but I have a couple of hundred (200+) entries when selecting just "bookmarks". "show all" was working properly in previous version.

Attached screenshots show the entries in bookmarks and what is being displayed in "show all"

This prevents me from re-arranging my bookmarks in FF.

How to fix?

ff 35.0 under openSuSE 13.1, KDE 4.11.2

Your screen shots did not make it.

I want you to follow these instructions. There is a bookmarks backup folder. We are going to look inside and see what is there.

First a question, is there a folder on your desktop called Old Firefox?

Type about:support<Enter> in the address bar.

Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Enter the bookmarkbackups folder. This is where Firefox makes backups The first thing to do is protect these files from being auto deleted. Create or choose a folder on your drive. Now copy the files from the backup to a safe place.

Now lets look at the files. Take a screen shot of what is in the folder, or type them in the reply box. We need to see the names, created, and size.

Post everything below.

Hello,

In order to better assist you with your issue please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

Thank you!

The above didn't actually solve problem but creating a new user profile did. I then restored my most recent bookmarks backup and show-all is working correctly now.

Thanks for the responses.

I am also having a problem getting "Bookmarks show all" to work. I have attached an image of a BookmarkBackup folder.
