Firefox did an automatic update. Where is my home page?
I lost my Speeddial home page with all of my favorites.

Assuming that the new tab page comes up when you click the new tab button, you can set it as your home page by - main menu (3 bars) > Options (cog wheel) > General tab > Use Current Pages. Its address, should you wish to enter it manually is about:newtab
Hope that helps.
I guess you are not familiar with speed dial. Before my home page was hijacked by the last Firefox update, it contained tabs with links to groups of websites. Now it will take me a long time to find and then input all the URLs. While I waited for an answer, I found Mozilla "Profiles" in several locations on my hard drive. They appear to have the data I need to get my old home page back. So, here's the new question: How the heck can I do that?
Hi, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtab.url and make sure that 'Value' is set to about:newtab - right click if necessary to modify it.
If you have the new tab page but without the thumbnails, you can copy and paste or drag and drop from the bookmarks menu.
Further info on profiles is here.
Anyone familiar with speeddial? The two answers I received don't help. And, as for Mozilla, why do I have profiles in three places on my C-drive? Why not one place and have an easy way to repopulate with the profile I had working nicely before Firefox replaced it with the last "Update?"
