In the Thunderbird menu, check:

View|Headers|Normal

Yours might be set to "All", but I suspect something else is amiss.

No menu? Hold down the <alt> key, tap V, release both keys.

I was in wrong "View" & have found right one. It seems to have worked. Thanks so much.
