At times, when I've tried to initiate or to join a conversation, my built-in webcam's light has gone on; but, no image of me or others has appeared. At other times, the webcam's light has not lit; no image of me or others has appeared. Same results with firewall disabled.

Hi Detail, Are you testing with a video camera on the same computer? If not, please check your sharing settings for the camera. If you click on the icon in the url of the Hello window

Or:

  1. Click on the url bar and select "Page Information"
  2. Click on Permissions
  3. From here, scroll down to make sure that the video camera is shared with this page.
  4. If you change the permissions, restart Firefox.
