Recently my firefox has stopped re-loading all pages and tabs when I open it. It goes to the home page but does not offer to restore... which is frustrating as my laptop has been crashing a lot lately (non-Firefox related) and now I loose my tabs every time! How can I make sure it saves & reloads the pages and tabs? Thank you!

Note that you have a "History > Restore Previous Session" item to restore that session.

Is that choice enabled or grayed (disabled)?

In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes":

  • do not clear the Browsing History

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.

If you had tabs and windows open when you closed Firefox, the default Firefox Start page will have a Restore Previous Session button on it. To get your tabs and windows back, just click it. Restore1 29 - Win Note: If you've set your home page to something other than the default Firefox home page, you can restore the default home page.
