Hi, All previous versions of Firefox have worked fine. With this version, 37.01, flash constantly crashes in the youtube application. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling...worked for a while after that...but then started doing it again. I've tested youtube using three different browsers (safari, opera and chrome) from the same computer...had no youtube issues with any of these. I also tried enabling html5...didn't seem to help with this. I believe there is some sort of bug with version 37.01. Please advise.

Thanks,.

Crashes or other problems with certain multimedia content in Firefox (such as YouTube videos and Flash animations or games) can often be resolved by performing the steps in these Knowledge Base articles:

Thanks for your reply but I had already tried all the steps mentioned above. What happened was it worked well for about a day but then started crashing again. It's just this browser. I believe there's some sort of bug.

What youtube application? Did you mean youtube videos on https://www.youtube.com/ or something else?

Did you do that via https://www.youtube.com/html5 or some other way?

In any case, it might help if you could post links to the crash reports that are submitted when the Flash plugin crashes:

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image shows what the about:crashes list should look like.)

Thanks for suggestions, but this is more trouble than it's worth. I'll just go with Google Chrome right now...which is working flawlessly...and hopefully future versions of Firefox will address these issues.

Again, thanks for your help.
