How to change from'Mark for deletion' to 'Delete immediately'

Is it possible to change this without doing an uninstall and reinstalling Thunderbird from scratch? I cant find anything in options but I know it gives the choice when installing. 

Is there an equivalent of the Firefox about:config which can be edited to acheive this?
