Hi,

I have 2 email accounts: - my personal gmail account - and my professional email account on a different server.

Until now, I am using my personal gmail account to check my professional emails by using the "Check mail from other accounts (using POP3)" option that Gmail propose and I also use gmail to reply to my professional emails.

The emails that I receive on my professional account are also stored on the original server but those I send from my gmail account are not stored into the original server.

I would like to archive all the emails linked to my professional account into Thunderbird. So I have configured my professional account into thunderbird where I was able to archive all received messages.

And I would like to do the same for the sent emails linked to my professional account that are only on the gmail server.

Is there any way I can import into Thunderbird only the messages I sent from my professional account through the gmail interface? Is it possible to select specific folders existing on gmail to import into Thunderbird?

I hope my explanations are clear. Thank you very much in advance for your help!

re: sent emails linked to my professional account that are only on the gmail server.

If you are using a Pop gmail account: Pop mail accounts can only access the server Inbox. Logon to gmail webmail account using a browser and move all of those 'Sent' emails into the webmail 'Inbox'. In Thunderbird, click on 'Get Messages ' to download them to your Thunderbird gmail Inbox. then move them into the Professional account Sent folder.
