Ever since my computer system was replaced, due to Hurricane Sandy, and with no thanks to Alex Trebek, every time I sign on, or even go to the next article, I get 'a chance to see any show from the 1970's.' I pretty much get the drift that Crackle exists. I have unsubscribed from Crackle, and never had a subscription. So can you do something? Maybe, at least guide me how, if possible' to get Crackle to leave me alone?

Hi, this is an unwanted redirect, so first - on your PC, open the Control Panel > Programs, and see if it can be uninstalled from there. If it can, that may be all you have to do. If not, or if you can't see it, you can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Note that you may need to run several different programs, because they don't all detect all malware.
