All tabs crash every time I try to load a new site.

Every time I try to navigate to a new page, this is what happens: - The page loads correctly and entirely. - Half a second later, it crashes (along with every other tab), and gives me the "Bad News: This tab has crashed" screen. Sometimes an individual tab can be restored, but only as long as I don't navigate away from the page it was on.

I've tried the following: - Cleared my cache, cookies, history, etc. - Restarted the computer. - Ran a full virus scan. - Uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox.

None of these had any effect. Starting in Safe Mode does remove the problem, however since the only add-ons I have are the default ones, the problem isn't being caused by any of them. I'm at a loss here; this is an exceedingly aggravating problem and I would really appreciate any advice y'all have.

Please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Since most volunteers here are not familiar with the unique issues involved with nightly builds, I wonder whether you might get more relevant feedback on the mailing list: https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/nightly-testers

You do show one extension that isn't a default. {d10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d} 2.6.9.1-signed Be nice to know what that is. Plus info about you graphics drivers would be nice to see.

Please open Help > Troubleshooting Information and then use the Copy text to clipboard button. Paste that text in to the Reply box here.

I performed a System Check and found that there are in fact corrupted files, but Windows can't fix them. I tried to view the log of the files checked to find the corrupted ones, but when I put in the command the Microsoft website advises, nothing happened. The command is findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"

...which I found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833#CBS%20log

Scratch that, I figured out what files are corrupted: the utc.app.json files. A bit of googling tells me that this is a non-issue, but it sounds like there should only be two of them, and I have four (three of which are the same size, one of which is substantially larger). Is this a potential cause of this problem? Should I delete the one that's bigger?

more options

It's better to remove that full program, then reinstall the current.

The crashes are shutdown crashes in accessibility (a11y)

The System Details list shows that Firefox thinks that accessibility is active.

The command is findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.

Open your file browser, and type %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\<enter>. Find the CBS.log file. Open it in a test editor. Click once in the file, then press <Control> A to highlight everything. Then <Control> C to copy it. Now go to the reply box below, and Paste it in.

Yes, e10s was enabled. Oddly enough, I haven't had any crashes since I disabled it.
