Profile needs to be moved from C disk?

more options

Hi there

after several hours I need to ask some very much needed help here. I have a Thunderbird installation on a F: disk that constantly points at a (previous) C: location. I explain better, I have even back up and saved the profile files from C to F and entirely uninstalled the program and then downloaded and installed from scratch on F and then restored the profile with MozBackUp but yet, if I check in the server setting of each of my accounts they go back again at pointing at the AppData - Roaming - Thunderbird location on C:!! this is driving me nuts for hours. I need to clear all the data on C for space reasons and no matter what I change it seems not working. I tried changing the profiles.ini file, leaving it on C but to no avail. Here is the copy and paste of the file:

[General] StartWithLastProfile=1

[Profile0] Name=default IsRelative=1 Path=F:\Thunderbird Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\l312w0sc.default Default=1

Can anyone help me with this? Thank you infinitely

Chosen solution

You need IsRelative=0 in profiles.ini. Reinstalling the program was a complete waste of time.
