What is the name of the Thunderbird Addressbook file?
I am using a loaner computer while mine is being fixed. I'd like to copy my address book onto a CD then download it onto the loaner. The address book is on a computer running Windows 7 64 bit. The loaner computer is running Windows 8.1. Can I do a simple copy/paste? What is the address book file name?

If the address book you are talking about is the 'Personal Address Book' or 'Collected Addresses', they are called 'abook.mab' and 'history.mab' respectively.
Both of these files can be copy pasted to same location.
Another method would be to export the address books as LDIF or comma separated.csv. Select the address book. Tools > Export Choose where to save Give suitable filename Save as type: LDIF or comma separated.csv. click on 'Save'.
Then you would use 'Tools > 'Import' Select 'Address Books' and click on Next Select 'TExt File' and click on Next locate file and click on Open
To locate the 'abook.mab' and 'history.mab' files:
Make hidden files and folders visible:
In Thunderbird Help > Troubleshooting Information click on 'show folder' button
this will open a window showing the contents of the Profile folder name.
scroll down to locate files for copy paste.
