When I open Firefox there are always 2 tabs visible. The first is my homepage and the second is my options. How can I stop options from appearing as a second tab. I can reach options through the menus if I need it. It is annoying to have to close it each time I open Firefox.

Hello

First check if your Firefox is up-to-date by going to menu>help>about Firefox

For your problem go to menu>options>general and choose your option from "When Firefox Starts" select the show my home page . it will open only your home page tab. if you still get any problem we are here to help.

Thanks. It was the latest version but in my homepage area it said: "http://my.xfinity.com/?cid=customer|about:preferences#general" I deleted the "|about:preferences#general" and all was fine.
