How do I force Firefox to update to my current tabs when I know I'm going to crash? On restart I do get restore option, but session is not upto date.
I can usually tell when firefox is experiencing a memory leak or running up against my computers memory limits. At this time I like to close old windows I don't want. Sometimes I go on and work for awhile after opening new windows i do want. But when I restart, or firefox crashes, when Firefox loads back up, it's restore session does not remember any of my latest activity. Often it restores to the point where my computer woke from sleep and doesn't remember anything i did after.
Is there any way to force firefix to update it's session back file before I manually restart or crash?

You may have corrupt sessionstore file(s).
Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.
Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.
Locate the sessionstore file(s). Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.
