Lost pane in Thunderbird

more options

I got a plane pane in Thunderbird now as this attachment shows. No more Thunderbird display logo when I open it.On my messages I have to click twice to open them and also I have to close the message before I can see the rest. I posted this question in the wrong section that's why I'm posting it here again.

For some reason photo won't load.

Hi gipsyking, According to this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1016703 the question owner with the same problem as you was able to fix it by re-installing Thunderbird.

If I were you, I would run MozBackup first, to make sure you can always get back to your current configuration. Doesn't hurt to play it safe...

Hope this helps, Norio

The screenshot loaded after all. Now I have the menu bar back on top but pressing any option in View doesn't make any difference.

See if reindexing fixes the issue. right click on folder and select 'Properties' click on 'repair folder' button, click on ok

Select another folder and then reselect the repaired folder. did this work?
