copied bookmarks backup not working

I went to usb here I copied entire profile, clicked copy bookmarks folder, did as you said to open file with my new profile. I right clicked and pasted there my old bookmarks file, it did not work. Saved passwords and everything else was copied as it should, but bookmarks didn't
