Firefox 40? (the latest one) works well , but then install Ant Video Add-On, play some music (from 8tracks in my case), select another tab, and "Not Responding" locks Firefox. If you Disable or Remove the Ant Add-On, Firefox reverts to working normally. I've installed and uninstalled many times with the same result on my Acer laptop and also on my Acer tablet, both running Windows 8.1.

It sounds like the Ant Video Player is affecting the performance of Firefox. However in order to troubleshoot the not responding warning or slowness in Firefox see: Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix

The point I am making is that on 2 different computers the Ant Add-On has been working on previous versions of Firefox with no problems. Nothing has changed with the set-ups apart from Firefox upgrading. Have you recreated the same problem? Thanks for the response.
