An automatic update has been performed for Thunderbird. From 31.7.0 to 38.1.0. Now I can't find my calender anymore. No menu item shows to open calender / events / whatsoever and I can't find all my entries (appointments, birhtdays, etc). What can I do? Re-install 31.7.0 or install the (new) calender add-on Lightning or...?? Many thanks for helping me out.

1. First, please tell us - at tools | addons - is Lightning listed as being at something like version 4.1.0?

2. Please update to version 38.2.0 which is just out, and post your results.

Hello Wayne,

1. I have no addonns installed. I can't recall wether I had Lighting installed as an addonn before the update. Should I first (re)install the Lighting addonn? I can do that later today.

2. I can update to 38.2.0 later today. When I do that will I not overwrite / erase files with my calender contents?

Thanks, Roel
