Chosen solution

If this is a new email address and new server settings then create a new mail account. Sounds like a move from north carolina to florida ?

File > New > exisiting mail account or Menu icon > New Messages > Exisiting mail account Enter name, email address and password (same password you use to access the new email address webmail account) click on 'continue'

thunderbird will try to configure settings. check the Type is correct POP or IMAP To manually adjust anything clickon 'Manual config' button. When all is corect click on 'Done' to create the mail account.
