Just installed update and now cannot find Preferences to set number of pages of search results, tabs, etc. These Preferences do not appear under Options.

Chosen solution

See what happens in the Firefox SafeMode.

A few different extensions have been mentioned as causing that - you need to figure out which one is causing it for you.

Hi

I have had a look into this and I do not believe it is a Firefox issue, but is a menu on the Google page (I am assuming you are using Google).

When you have done a search, you should see a cog icon on the right hand side of the page. Click on this and select Search Settings. You should see the options you are looking for in that menu.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

That is what used to happen. Now, after the Firefox update, the cog only takes you to Options - but nowhere are the Preferences listed.

Hi

The guide I gave was in respect of the results of a Google search, not the options in Firefox. In the attached file, the cog icon can be seen on the right hand side below the blue "Sign In" graphic.

I hope this helps.
