Some add-ons unworkable in version 40.1

I have installed FF 40.1, and have come across a problem. I have some add-ons that won't work, e.g. Dashlane. It's stated that it "could not be verified for use in Firefox. Proceed with caution". Then when I go into more information, it mentions about an "add-on signing". I tried everything possible to get my extension working, even closing browser, clear my internet cache, cookies, history... Re-open FF and still some my extensions/add-ons won't come on, with the error of the add-on can't be verified/add-on signing.

Can someone help me with this, or can this be resolved.

Thank you.

Chosen solution

If the Add-ons page says "Proceed with caution," the extension is not blocked, that's just a warning for your information.

Is your Dashlane icon missing from the toolbar, or is the icon not working? What problems are you encountering?

Could you try updating Dashlane to see whether that works better with your Firefox 41? I test-installed version 3.5.2.91395 from https://www.dashlane.com/download and it does appear on the toolbar. When I click the button, after a delay, it invites me to create an account.

Well, assuming that Dashlane add-on would work automatically under any new version of FF without the need to download and install.

I did what you suggested, downloaded, installed, signed in. and Dashlane works.

However, I'm not so sure about DownloadHelper and one more add-on. They seem to work too without problems... so we shall see.

Other than that, Dashlane is working okay.

Thanks for your suggestion.

P.S.: I forgot to mention as you said: The Dashlane icon was there, it just stayed grey before the suggestion. After the suggestion, the icon is there and it's on green.
