Firefox has a page that tells me how to _hide my sign-in and password when I enter a certain account.

Hello BETTYVOGEL, go from the 3-bar menu on you top right > Options > Security > in Passwords area UNcheck the "Remove passwords for sites" and then see in "Saved passwords" and if you have passwords inside select Remove All.

Now, go to Privacy (above Security) > History > Firefox will > select "Use custom settings for history" and UNcheck the "Remember Search and form history". Now close the tab, exit firefox and restart it, and probably you are Ok.
