1. On one of my accounts, using option does not display the contents of the message, I must go to the web to view it. Why is happening and how can I return to normal? 2. On another account, I cannot see the list of my email nor does it have a tool bar for subject, sender, date. Instead it has the quick filter bar. I have never used quick filter, nor do I want to use quick filter. Please tell me how to delete it so that I can read my messages!

Can you provide screenshots of the two accounts, demonstrating the problems?

A picture of what is blank would still be helpful.

I'm puzzled by (2) because the settings are not account-specific. The implication is that you do see these in other accounts. So that raises a question about what you mean by account.

Missing toolbars can be made visible by either

alt-v, Toolbars, then tick or untick the checkboxes as required, or

hamburger|Preferences, tick or untick the checkboxes.

It says "Preferences" here in Linux; in Windows it probably says "Options". Don't click it, hover over it and wait for a sub menu.
