Firefox "starts" and ends without showing anything. Profile Mgr doesn't start either. Tried everythin.

I have used Firefox for a long time on several windows computers. On one of them it won't start properly since a couple of days. It first seems to start but nothing happens and after a few seconds time the "time glass" dissappears. I can see it running a short while in the Activity Handler but then it disaaperas automatically. I have read and tried your support tips, among them how to start the profile manager to do some activities. But the same thing happens with the profile manager. I have uninstalled and re-installed firefox a number of times, turned of the computer in between and such. But nothing seems to work.

Yes I have, but it had to be renewed after one year obviously. I went through the setup of Dell Protected Workspace and now Firefox works again.

I have had the computer for more than one year and have used Firefox since day one and every day since then.

The problem started a few days ago and I have uninstalled/re-installed a number of times since then.

The current Firefox version is downloaded today and is version 41.0.2.5765.

My computer is a Dell Latitude E7240 with Intel Core i7 -4600U CPU, 8 GB RAM, 64-bits OS.

I am using Windows 7 Proffesional with service pack 1.

Anything else you need?
