Firefox preventing Google Chrome to be responsive: why?

more options

It is not possible to activate "Google Chrome". It keeps saying "Page unresponsive"and "Chrome didn't shut down correctly" and "Your preference can not be read". I believe Firefox sync is preventing Google to open. Please let me know how to deal with this issue.

Firefox Sync shouldn't be causing any problems with Chrome not being responsive. Sync won't run unless Firefox is running, so don't have Firefox open when trying to launch Chrome, to see if that issue isn't present.

It is not possible to activate Google Chrome: the page is unresponsive. It comes up Aw, snap: reload the tab, but it constantly saying: Your preferences can not be read. Thank you.
