When i click on something on a page it automatically opens it in new tab, how do I change that?

For example when I click on channel or video or anything on youtube it automatically opens it in new tab an that doesn't just apply for youtube it does that for every site i visited

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
